Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka shankar is a British and American sitarist. She also plays music. She is the youngest woman and the first to receive a British House of Commons shield. Anoushka is a emerging star of Indian sitar. She is a student as well as daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar. She was born in London in 1982. In during her early years, she swam in London New Delhi. At New Delhi, she made her debut at just thirteen years of age. After that, she relocated in Encinitas CA, where she earned the High School diploma with honors in the year 1999. Anouskha was only 17 years old, has had an impressive recording and performing career. She has been performing with her father in the stage for a long time. She released her first solo album Anourag in 1998. Two years later she released the Grammy nomination-winning Live in Carnegie Hall.
